Members of the Thomas Risley church lead and support a range of regular weekly, bi-weekly and monthly groups plus host some wonderful seasonal one-off events for all ages across our community.

Regular events and groups
Weekly Prayer meeting
Join our weekly prayer meeting, Monday 7pm – 7:30pm via the below Zoom link.
Tommy Tots
Wednesdays – 9am – 11:30am
Tommy Tots meets every week in term time for parents and carers of children under five. We are very busy making crafts, playing together, singing and eating snacks.
Wednesday Club
Fortnightly 2pm – 3.30pm
A time to chat and share with other local people. All 55+
TReats
Thursdays – 8:45am – 11:30am
Supported by Thomas Risley church members, meet friends and family for a catch up with a coffee and TReat in our relaxed church setting.
Coffee and Crafts
Tuesdays – 10am – 12pm
We meet fortnightly where you can bring along your crafts and have a brew and a natter. You can share your experience, ask for advice or simply enjoy the company.
Messy Church

Our monthly Messy Church is about having time together to have fun, explore faith, worship God and share some food. Everyone is welcome at Messy Church.
TRotters
Saturdays
Walks for different abilities. Own transport is recommended. See the church Facebook group or weekly newsletter for details of the next gathering. See you there!

Beetle Drive
Saturday 8th February, 6pm. All welcome. Refreshments served.
Elmwood Avenue – Quiz night
Saturday 23rd February, 6pm. We’ll be welcoming friends from 5pm for a bite to eat, aiming to start the quiz at 6pm. £5 per person.
Please let us know by 17th February if you will be joining us for catering purposes. All money raised will be going towards our church building extension project!

Join us for a picnic in Forest Park for our Muddy Church theme – feeding the 5000.
Bring along a picnic and something to sit on – we’ll provide the cakes!

Encounter FEST
Free activities for all ages including tea, coffee and cake, fun and games and a football tournament. There will also be circus skills, arts and crafts plus a prayer tent.

Did you join us to party in our car park? Our wonderful Church members ran a range of stalls from plants to cakes along with a range of games and competitions for all ages.

Did you join us in Forest Park? We wandered and wondered our way through the story of Palm Sunday.
Celebration Service and picnic
Church members, friends and family came together on the 12th September to celebrate the return to ‘normal’ for church services. The service was followed by a picnic on the playing field and enjoyed by all. Thanks for joining us.
