Sancuary Cafe Lymm - Review

I'm feeling a bit like Egon Ronay. After a visit to the newly opened Sanctuary Cafe at our Sister Church at Lymm, I felt compelled to write a short review to let you all know what we found.

I wanted to write a hard hitting review so I thought I start with the bad bits. Sorry can't think of any!

So on to the good stuff; We chose to visit on Saturday morning (4th April), the 1st day of opening. We arrived at about 9:40 am so they'd all had a good 10 minutes experience under their belts by the time we arrived. The first thing to say was how warmly we were welcomed by everybody we met. The effort that had gone into the decoration and the layout was also obvious to all.

But what about the board of fayre I hear you ask? Well its all good there as well. There is a great selection of cakes, scones, teacakes, toast etc. But imagine our excitement when we found bacon butties on offer. I chose to have my bacon buttie on toasted brown bread and I have to say it was splendid! The bacon was cooked just perfectly and the toast was rather excellent as well.

On to the coffee, I've saved the best to the last, I chose a large latte with a caramel shot and without any exageration it was one of the best cups of coffee I can remember drinking. Before leaving I also shared a pot of tea with my wife which was also very nice indead.

All in all, I recommend that, if you havent already, get over to the Sanctuary Cafe at Lymm URC. If you need directions use the following link to the Lymm URC church website - click here

Below are a few photos from our visit.

We pray that the Sanctuary cafe will go from strength to strength!
