Vision4Life
This year the URC nationally are urging us through Vision4Life (http://vision4life.terapad.com) to feast on the Bible, they are right, it is so important and here at Thomas Risley we will be encouraging it through the year. There will be a Vision4Life bible day at the church on the 4th of July.
Coming Soon:
14th June 2009
16th June 2009
There will be a Hope for Children day of prayer on Tuesday 16th June
from 8am until 8pm at St Elphin's Church, Warrington (opposite Sainsburys). This is
an Ecumenical Day of Prayer for the town. Around the Church there will
be prayer areas, and led prayers on the hour from different traditions.
21st June 2009
30th June and 13th July
There will be two Evening Synods again this year on 30th June at Formby
URC and 13th July at Lymm URC. This will be an opportunity for
representatives from Churches to come together. In addition to worship
and the sharing of news, the question "What is God asking us to be and
to do?" will be addressed. We shall give an emphasis on discerning what
God is saying to us as congregations and as the whole Synod.
