Outside Agape 4

Here are some pictures of Agape 4 showing the house and new disability unit that will house 40 disabled children and also a plan of the training kitchen.  We have been awarded a Matching Grant through Malcolm’s Rotary Club ( RC of Warrington) and Somerset West Rotary Club ( Western Cape ) and our respective Districts for $20,950 which will fund the kitchen  -  our church is donating £1200 which we held back earlier in the year rather than send it to Agape as Malcolm thought we would have a much better use which is the kitchen project.  The kitchen will be used for training people at the orphanage as well as feeding the children with a view to learning cooking & catering skills.   We are just waiting for Somerset West to set up a bank account to receive the funds and then money from the UK , South Africa and USA will be paid into the account for the units to be ordered and fitted. They are being supplied by Geratec and Caterware in Western Cape who have been used by Somerset West on other projects.

Somerset West are also providing funding for the electrical supply etc for the kitchen which could not be funded via the grant.
